OMG I have a husky myself(: But here' s a list you need for him/her:

    Toys:
Huskies do get bored very often, so toys like chew toys and sqeaky toys, or even a plain tennis ball would do!

    A Kennel and/or a cage:
A kennel is usually for outside purposes if you want to lock your dog up, but he can still move around. I got a kennel at petsmart. A cage is for usually night or if it' s hot outside (80 degrees +)! But a cage is optional. If you do not want a cage, get those big dog beds which are at sale everywhere, like petsmart, walmart, and also homegoods! And if you will get a cage, get the biggest size there is because huskies grow quick. You don’t want to waste money buy keep one buying cages that your dog will over grow.

    Treats:
If you want to train your husky, you are going to need treats. They are extremely fast learners, and treats will motivate them to master their obedient skills! Treats like Puperronis or Beggin' Bacon Strips will do!

    Collar/Collar Tag:
You' ll need a collar just to help you identify your dog. A collar without hazordous objects on it like bedazzled jewels are the best for puppies (tend to bite and choke on them). But be sure to get like some bright color that' ll stand out of the fur, black and white aren' t the best options. And you can still have a nice cloth patter on the collar itself! A collar tag is where you put the dog' s name, and your phone #, just incase the dog gets lost, you should also put your full address on the back. You can get all sorts of shapes, but I got a bone shape because it has more surface area! And I do not know if your pet will do this, but mine kept biting on his tag, so if yours does exactly the same, you' ll need to get a new one in regards to a year or so. and make sure to put that slear paper over vital information on the tag.

    Leash:
You have to take huskies out for walks if you want them to be more social. And plus it' ll be good for the dog' s fitness. And you might end up buying a whole bunch of them, because huskies love playing tug-o-war with the leash.

    Water/Food bowl:
You are going to need something to feed your dog in. If you have an antproblem at home you get one huge bowl and one small, fill the big bowl with lots of water and the small bowl can float with the food in it. It works at my cousin' s house perfectly(:

    Optional Neuter:
I did so end up neutering my dog, since he' s a male and got really aggressive. Following the surgery, he was a perfect calm, but playful dog still. But if you do not want to, it' s optional. I just recommend it if your dog reaches aggressive

    Property Shock collar:
DO NOT GET THE REMOTE CONTROL SHOCK COLLAR! Those just damage the dog' s throat, and husky puppies can get their throats injured. I first got a small tiny shock collar for my dog until the shock was light enough for him to go through the fence. Once he is like around 2-3 years old, obtain the big ones. Shock colars just give you a relief that the dog will maybe not run out of the property.

    Brushes:
Huskies shed a lot, so you' ll need to groom them A LOT! May be about 5 times weekly, and get the brush that' ll take the fur out and the ones that are easier to clean.

    Dog food:
The dog food brand I feed my dog is Natural Domains with Turkey or salmon (should have a picture of a Husky on it). You can get Natural Domains at Costco. But I think you should start out with Blue Buffalo, that is also a good brand.

    Water:
This is common sense, but ensure that your dog is always supplied with water. There are water bowls that have some sort of gallon attached to them that' ll fill the water bowl until the water' s gone in the gallon, this is perfect if you’re going away for the day! It' ll keep your puppy hydrated, but this still doesn' t mean leave the dog out in 90 degree weather.

    A good Veteranarian:
Make sure to pick a good veteranarian center. Do some research and read reviews. Even ask your friends which ones they use if they have pets themselves! A good veternarians will have a lot of experience in the area of animal medicine. Just watch out for perfect doctors for your pooch!

    Heartguard and Frontline:
Heartgurad is medicine that you' ll ned to prevent heartworms for your dog' s hearts. Heartworms are very bad killers, so heartguard will definitly prevent it. Frontline is a flea/tick repellent. But their are other brands like K-9 advantix. These two will definently get the job done!

    Google it!
You can just type up how to take care of a husky and you' ll find many websites. I got my husky Max and he is wonderful! Hope you have fun with your brand-new pal(:

PS: Usually do not cut or trim husky hair, they need it to cool down and warm up. They can die without their hair.
